About Me

A painting made of sand

I am a professional Artist & Photographer based in Ludlow.

I studied Photography and Art at Ludlow College, then took a Foundation Art and B.A Honours degree in Photography, where I attained a First Class Honours. Being at University enabled me to experience traditional photography and the magic of darkroom processes and chemicals. I was extremely fortunate to have many of the biggest names in British contemporary photography as my tutors & mentors.

My design and photography clients over the years have included advertising & design agencies, publishing companies and magazines. My photography is regularly featured in International motoring books & publications.

For the past eighteen years, I have been a Design & Media Manager for a renowned publishing company which specialises in motor sport books. I have loved the fast-paced environment, the challenges, experiences, and opportunities that the job has given me and it will remain a very important part of my life.

Alongside managing a design & media department full-time, I have also exhibited and sold my large-scale sand paintings for over twenty years. My dream has always been to have my own studio where I can fully immerse myself in my artistic practice. In 2023 I made a life-changing decision to take the leap and give art my full attention and I now have an art studio and gallery in my home town of Ludlow.

About My Art

IMG_8234.jpg

I specialise in figurative and mixed media painting. My aim is always to deliver high-quality, beautiful and expressive pieces to encourage people to explore human interactions and body language.

I love creating near-life-size figures in my larger paintings. I explore different effects using mixed media, acrylic and oil paints. Texture is something that I like to incorporate into my pieces.

I have a passion for creating unique, captivating, emotive artwork that tells a story. I invite you to explore my collection and experience the beauty of art.
