Commissions
Commission Process
During the initial discussion, we will plan size, style, colour, and composition. We may also consider your interior style to make sure that we are on the right lines with planning your piece. I will then be able to put a quote together for you. A 50% deposit will be required at the order stage to secure your booking and cover the purchase of material for your commission.
You would be welcome to visit my studio and gallery to see other current paintings that are on exhibition. Seeing my other work in person can sometimes spark ideas for the commission. If in-person visits aren't possible, there is always email or video chat.
Sand painting commissions may take from one to two months to complete and oil paintings may take up to four months with a drying time in excess of that. I will work with you to produce your perfect artwork and will give you regular updates to make sure that you are happy with the progress and to give you the opportunity to make suggestions before completion.
Delivery or collection can be arranged. If you live within a 15 mile radius I will be able to deliver free of charge.
If you would like an idea of my prices please view my current painting section. Commissions are subject to a 20% commission fee to cover the admin, extra work involved, including viewings, working to a brief and revisions, etc.

"Back in June, my husband and I came across Abigail's Art Gallery during a visit to Ludlow. We were instantly taken with her work and her ethos and decided to commission a family legacy piece for our home.
The painting depicts Brienz in Switzerland and is the view from the spot where my husband proposed. To make it extra special, we were able to supply some sand from a beach in Scotland where my grandmother grew up for Abigail to use as part of the base layer.
Abigail has kept us posted at every stage of the painting creation, providing photos and film along the way and requesting feedback to ensure it is exactly what we had envisaged.
The final work, "Stille" was delivered last week and we're blown away. It's amazing, from the perfect depiction of the aqua blue lake to the romantic ambience of a place that means so much to us.
We can't thank Abigail enough and "Stille" will be treasured, always."
